This is a fun toy that I hope will confuse and delight. It takes the USGS's daily earthquake GeoJSON stream and maps it to your screen. It is written in plain JavaScript and uses the WebAudio API. The geometric calculations are not actually correct, but it's enough for a cute first approximation. You won't see the earthquakes. You'll hear them instead, which is much more fun. I hope you enjoy. If you'd like to run the tests, you can do that here. If you'd like see the source code, you can do that on my Github. Click the map to begin.
